Whatever it is, the way you tell your story can make all the difference.

“It’s not about what it is, it’s about what it can become.” Dr. Seuss.

I see life as a fluid and dynamic entity with many intersecting variables. In my work, I honour and recognize the significance of lived experience.  In life there are moments where we need to pause and tease out what is motivating us, what’s driving our thoughts and behaviors, as these become our reality.  At times we find ourselves with low energy, less zeal for the things we used to enjoy, addicted to vices, internally conflicted, struggling with our personal relationships, overburdened by career commitments, family commitments, in essence, unhappy with ourselves.  You are not the only one. Seeking support for your wellness will empower you to take charge of your life, reclaim your relationships and redeem your energies with focus and mental grit.

Integrating narratives from a biopsychosocial perspective allows us to go beyond our moments to move forward with both awareness and intention.  Adopting a hybrid of humanistic and narrative psychology, my approach to facilitating growth starts with personal revelation, as I believe that you can only connect to others to the extent that you can connect with yourself.

Working within a culturally responsive socially just framework, I offer a safe, inviting, non-judgmental space for you to begin the delicate process of earnest self-reflection. I specialize in working with children and families, couples, individuals and adolescents.

My rates are $160/session. Colleen offers appointments in Langley.

“Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.” ~ Brené Brown

Sofia Daulat, MA., RCC, Registered Clinical Counsellor #20458

Life experiences can leave us feeling stressed, anxious, inadequate and even hopeless. At times we feel lost, as we struggle to navigate the pain and discomfort we are feeling and may be unsure of how to take steps forward. Counselling can be a place where we make space for the painful experiences of the past, our hopes for the future, and embracing all of who we are and hope to be. No matter what difficulty you are facing, there is hope in restoring what feels lost or broken and support for you as you process, heal, grow and find meaning.

My heart is to cultivate a safe enough and non-judgmental space, where you can come to recognize your own inner resiliency, through connection with self and others, self reflection and exploration. It is my hope that you would feel heard, seen and supported in your unique healing journey.

My rates are $160/session. Sofia offers appointments in Langley. I am registered with Crime Victim Assistant Programs (CVAP) and First Nations Health Authority (FNHA). Direct Billing is offered.
